Impress your clients and staff with a customised tour with their own private tour guide.
I have extensive experience of providing outstanding and imaginative tours. My corporate clients include international banks, accountants, global oil, media and technology companies, plus smaller private companies who want to make their clients and staff feel special.
For individuals or large groups, my tours can be on foot, by limousine, coach, Routemaster bus, boat or helicopter!
From my many years working in the Financial City, I know how important it is for outstanding customer service.
Client Entertaining
Do you have valued customers or out-of town colleagues visiting your offices?
Why not make their visit memorable by including a personally guided tour. London is one of the world’s great cites, prized as much for its unique heritage and extraordinary history as it is for being an international centre for arts, business and politics. Whether it is for a whole day or between meetings, a tour gives an exciting and memorable context to their visit.
For those with more time we can explore the fascinating places a day trip from London – ideal for looking after your visitors over the weekend.
Tours are customised to your clients’ interests. For example, the Financial City to find out how London became a leading financial centre, the stories behind the famous financial institutions and how they have influenced our language. Why are futures contracts valued in 3 month segments?
Other tours include Legal London, Political London, Literary London, Medical London, Scientific London, Theatrical London, Architectural London, Multi-cultural London etc.
Many museums and galleries have a late night public opening or can be privately hired in the evenings. I will show your clients the highlights of London’s world class collections putting it all in context.
Entertaining in Historic Venues
For more formal client entertaining, I can suggest imaginative venues to hire for all sizes of groups and provide a commentary on a coach tour from your office to the venue.
Staff on Secondment or Office Relocations
Make your valuable staff feel really welcome when they are on secondment to your office, or introduce your staff to a new area if your office relocates.
A tour can introduce them to the immediate locality of your office and/or their residential location so that they are quickly made to feel at home. This could include practical help such as local amenities and how to use the public transport, as well as giving the area an historical context.
Staff entertainment
Staff outings are a great way to help bond departmental relationships. I can create bespoke day, evening or weekend trips to suit your requirements:
- “Who knew that was there?” – an exploratory walking tour around the vicinity of your office outlining its history, location and present relevance. Entertaining for both staff and visitors – how much do you know about your local area? I can introduce you to the famous (and infamous) happenings in your patch.
- River cruise followed by dinner
- Panoramic tour followed by a wine tasting, cocktail making masterclass, a concert or show etc.
- Day trip to Oxford, Stratford upon Avon or Stonehenge etc.
I can arrange a light hearted quiz based on the tour, which is a great way to encourage team spirit.
For off-site meetings I can recommend some atmospheric boutique hotels that have excellent conference facilities. Escaping from the office environment is an ideal way of stimulating innovative thinking especially when combined with one of my walking tours of the area!
